Maison Philippe Conticini is well known for their pastries, like the Charlotte Framboise. In the shop they also sell very large croissants and pains au chocolat here, as well as beautiful pains suisses, pains aux raisins, and various brioche feuilletée with little fillings, all as part of their viennoiserie selection.
At this bakery, I tried a croissant and a pain au chocolat — both were very tasty. I was most impressed by the pain au chocolat, because the filling makes it difficult to achieve nice layers. The Charlotte framboise looked very beautiful and delicious.
I visited the bakery at 27 Place Dauphine, 75001 Paris, France. You can’t get everything there, but they do have viennoiseries. It's also fun to visit Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet — it’s a food paradise. There are all kinds of stalls with delicious delicacies, including a small stand by Philippe Conticini.
