Panade

Paris Croissant Viennoiserie Baguette

The shop is located near the Eiffel Tower. After buying our pastries, I walked over to the tower and enjoyed them there.

At this bakery, I got a croissant, a croissant bi-goût, the brownatine, the panadais (a viennoiserie with apricot), and a seeded baguette.

Croissant

The croissant was very delicious — crispy and flaky on the outside and soft enough to melt on your tongue on the inside. It had a nicely even interior and a wonderful buttery flavor.

Croissant bi-goût

The croissant bi-goût was divine — the same delicious croissant, but with a raspberry filling. The filling wasn’t too sweet and had a slightly sour flavor.

Brownatine

The brownatine was a kind of pain au chocolat, but instead of a chocolate stick inside, it had a strip of brownie with hazelnuts. It’s a funny and original idea, but I think the execution could have been better. It's hard because of the filling, the layers got compressed by it. The taste was nice, but not particularly special.

Panadais

The panadais is a viennoiserie with some cream and half an apricot on top. On the sides, you could see the beautiful layers. The cream was delicious, and the slightly sour apricot balanced it all nicely.

Baguette

The baguette had a beautiful interior, though it could’ve used a slightly crispier crust. The flavor was fine.
