At this bakery, I had a croissant, a type of viennoiserie with custard and fruit on top, and a sourdough loaf. Everything was beautifully dark-baked.
The croissant didn't look perfect, but you could clearly see the layers on the outside. The inside didn’t have the most defined structure, but it was very flavorful.
The viennoiserie with custard, rooibos custard blueberries yuzu glaze, was a bit too sweet for me, but the fruit added a slight tang to balance it out. The filling was quite runny — though to be fair, it was a warm day, which didn’t help.
The sourdough bread was delicious, with a crispy crust and a rich flavor.
It’s a cozy shop where you can also grab a drink or a bite to eat — I even saw filled focaccias, for example :).
