Brood van Bro is a lovely shop in The Hague where you can enjoy your pastry both inside and outside, with a view into the bakery where you can watch them sliding loaves into the oven.
At this bakery, I bought a croissant and a sourdough loaf.
The croissant looked beautiful and had a nice honeycomb structure. I did feel the flavor could have been a bit more intense. Other than that, it was crispy and looked like a real model pastry.
The sourdough bread also looked great. The crust could have been a little crispier in my opinion, and you could definitely taste that it's sour, but it wasn’t overly sour.
