The pain au chocolat looked fairly nice on the outside, though it wasn’t very flaky. The interior wasn’t very even. The flavor and aroma were not very pronounced, and the mouthfeel was a bit dry.
Both rolls were very tasty and generously filled, but not too sweet. The viennoiserie could have been a bit crispier on the outside. The pistachio filling was creamy and nutty, though it could use a touch of salt. The chocolate hazelnut filling tasted a bit like chocolate mousse, but less airy; and it didn’t leave a heavy feeling.

The baguette didn’t quite meet our expectations this time. The crust was a bit on the tough side, and the crumb turned out denser than we had hoped, with only a few air pockets. In the end, we shared it with the pigeons — and they seemed quite pleased with it!
